Humanitarian Aid to Cuba
We have plans to
apply for a 501(c)3 non-profit status organization in order to accept and distribute aid to Cuban
citizens.
We have not yet filed an application for 501c3
status and are not requesting nor accepting any donations at this time. In the mean time, please check out
the Americas Relief Team for humanitarian aid to Cuba and their humanitarian trips to Cuba.
Our mission is to build an
organization that will accept and distribute food, medicine, medical supplies, clothing, volunteer labor and
funding for specific projects that will be distributed directly to the citizens of
Cuba.
We would like to provide
aid to schools, hospitals and entrepreneurs looking to explore and experiment with (hopefully) the new free
market economy in Cuba.
Mostly, we would like to
focus on giving Cuban entrepreneurs the resources and funding needed to start small businesses in Cuba along
with paladares, private taxi service, bilingual Cuban guides, casas particulares and other ventures in Cuba
by Cubans.
We have not and will not accept USAID support
or funding in any way.
Find Cuba related humanitarian aid
organizations in the Politics Directory at the Havana Journal and more information about how to travel to Cuba
legally on a people to people trip to Cuba.
Also, the Cuba Humanitarian
Forum at the Havana
Journal and the Humanitarian category in the Politics section are
great resources for humanitarian information.
